Your rights
- Access — ask whether we process your personal data and, where the right applies, receive a copy and the required accompanying information.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate personal data and complete incomplete data where appropriate.
- Erasure — ask us to erase personal data where the legal conditions for erasure are met. The right is important but is not absolute.
- Restriction — ask us to restrict processing in circumstances provided by data-protection law.
- Objection — object to certain processing based on legitimate interests. You have an absolute right to object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing.
- Portability — receive qualifying data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where the statutory conditions apply.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent, without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
- Automated decisions — rights and safeguards may apply where a decision about you is made solely by automated processing and has a legal or similarly significant effect.
Account deletion and erasure
Lynr Network users can permanently delete their account through the account controls. Account deletion closes the login and removes account-linked Network data and private files that no longer need to be retained.
Account deletion is not a promise that every record in every system is legally capable of immediate erasure. LYNR may retain the minimum information required or permitted for legal obligations, accounting/tax, contracts, fraud/security, legal claims, regulatory matters, or to continue honouring a direct-marketing objection. Such retained information is not kept as an active Network profile.
How to make a request
Email privacy@getlynr.com with a short description of the request and enough information to locate the relevant records.
If LYNR has reasonable doubts about identity, it may ask for proportionate additional information needed to confirm the requester. LYNR normally responds without undue delay and within one month. Where the law permits an extension because a request is complex or numerous, LYNR will explain that within the initial response period.
If a request cannot be fulfilled in full
Some rights depend on the circumstances and lawful basis. If LYNR lawfully refuses a request or only partly complies, it will explain the reason and applicable complaint rights where required by law.
Complaints
Raise an internal privacy complaint at privacy@getlynr.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or, where another data-protection regime applies, an appropriate local supervisory authority.
International processing
Where applicable UK data-protection law restricts an international transfer, LYNR uses or relies on an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and related safeguards where required. See the Privacy Policy and Network Privacy Notice for more detail.
